Charles Blackmon, Of Counsel, focuses his practice primarily on corporate business, and sports and entertainment matters. Charles has full range of experience in representing closely held businesses and non-profits, including employment, compliance, and dissolution issues. In addition to his business practice, Charles represents clients in the entertainment industry and sports related fields. He is well versed in contract drafting and negotiation. He has also tried cases in the state and federal courts of North Carolina and Pennsylvania as well as handled client administrative matters before various governmental agencies in both jurisdictions.
Charles is actively involved in numerous professional and civic organizations and holds leadership positions with several. He maintains business and professional relationships in the Northeast having practiced in Philadelphia for a number of years.
A Durham native, Charles obtained his B.S. in Industrial Relations from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in 1983 and his law degree from the North Carolina Central University School of Law in 1988. He is admitted to practice in North Carolina and Pennsylvania.
