Tuggle Duggins is experienced in advising clients on international procurement, construction, and regulatory compliance issues that have arisen in Europe, Mexico, the Middle East, the Caribbean, Central and South America, and Africa. We offer expertise in handling internationally funded development projects (e.g., World Bank, Inter-American Development Bank, and the United States Agency for International Development) and advise both private companies and foreign government agencies on procurement procedures and policies. We handle construction project finance, joint ventures, and corporate structuring and tax planning for foreign subsidiaries. We also have experience assisting U.S. companies operating internationally with compliance issues under the European Union Directives, and under environmental, privacy, transportation, and employment laws and regulations of Central and South America, including NAFTA.
Our recent experience includes representation of a multinational corporation in obtaining a build-to-suit lease for a large manufacturing facility in Mexico, and preparing the design and construction agreements for a major manufacturing plant in Brazil.
