Our History

The entrepreneurial spirit of our firm began with its founders. In 1974, Dick Tuggle and
Jim Duggins were experienced, respected attorneys with an established Greensboro law firm, who set out on their own to form a new firm. The new firm would be dedicated to serving
closely-held businesses and their owners with an innovative, creative, and bold approach
to solving problems.

The focus of Dick Tuggle and Jim Duggins, and the firm they created, has remained true for more than 30 years and is the hallmark of Tuggle Duggins today.   We work in a long-term partnership role with each client.   We build client relationships around trust.   Our yardstick for success is the success of our clients.

The vision that inspired Dick Tuggle and Jim Duggins in 1974 continues to shape our firm's character and our reputation for integrity and professionalism.
