Donald G. Sparrow
With over 45 years of experience, Donnie guides his clients to efficiently solve compex challenges, to carefully document agreements between parties and ultimately move a transaction to a successful conclusion. Donnie’s clients are the beneficiaries of his extensive experience and remarkable creativity. Donnie is well-versed in a variety of commercial real estate issues including the acquisition and development of high-value commercial and industrial real properties, complex construction law issues, 1031 exchanges, financing and refinancing obligations, entity formation and governance, and certain HUD programs. Throughout his legal career, Donnie’s primary focus has always remained the success and growth of his clients.
Recent Representative Matters
- Received NC Supreme Court opinion affirming a NC Court of Appeals decision that defendant construction company client was entitled to Summary Judgment in its favor in a complex construction matter involving a HUD 221(d)(4) project.
- Closed sale of a portion of a manufacturing company; recently settled a land title claim of trespass for a nominal amount.
- Completed a number of real estate transactions for an investor client, including a shopping center and a number of stand-alone retail outlets.
Outside of the Office:
Donnie enjoys playing golf, spending time with family, reading, fly fishing, music and gardening.
