As a native of the Triad, Mason has a passion for assisting local business owners and other individuals in navigating complex legal issues. He emphasizes communication and collaboration with his clients and colleagues to ensure that he achieves the best possible outcome. Mason focuses his practice in commercial litigation and land use law.
In law school, Mason was a member of the Holderness Moot Court Team, where he competed in several appellate advocacy competitions, including the National Appellate Advocacy Competition. Additionally, he was a staff member for the First Amendment Law Review. Mason’s undergraduate degree is in Public Policy and Political Science, with a minor in Philosophy and Economics. This educational background provides him with the knowledge necessary to guide his clients through complex processes, in the courtroom and beyond.
As a lifelong Tar Heel fan, Mason avidly supports all of UNC athletics and often travels to away games across the country. When he is not watching the Heels, you will catch Mason fly fishing throughout the world, although his favorite spots are found in his beloved Blue Ridge Mountains.
