Michael J. Wenig & H. Vaughn Ramsey will speak at the North Carolina Association of Certified Public Accountants seminar held at Asbury Park Grove in Charlotte, NC on August 9, 2013.  Their topics will include a Federal and State Tax Update as well as an overview of the sales and use tax system in North Carolina.

Mike Wenig, CPA, JD, a director of Tuggle Duggins P.A., has over twenty-five years of experience counseling closely held business clients on a variety of issues.  He is also a certified public accountant and has extensive experience representing individual and corporate taxpayers before the Internal Revenue Service, state revenue departments, and in various courts.

Vaughn Ramsey, JD, LLM, a director of Tuggle Duggins P.A., has over twenty-five years experience in general business representation, with a focus on mergers and acquisitions and taxation.  He advises clients on a broad spectrum of business transactions, including taxable and non-taxable business sales and acquisitions, entity formation, private placements, joint ventures, general contract matters, and related transactions.
