Tuggle Duggins P.A. is pleased to announce that Cory Rayborn has been named Chair of the Board of Directors of the High Point Economic Development Corporation (HPEDC), the city-funded organization dedicated to attracting investment, retaining businesses and supporting the economic vitality of the High Point community. His term as Chair runs through 2027.

In connection with this appointment, Rayborn also serves as Chair of the Guilford County Economic Development Alliance, the collaborative body that unites the High Point and Greensboro economic development corporations on regional projects of shared interest.

“Economic development work is about more than transactions — it’s about shaping the kind of community where businesses and families want to put down roots. High Point has tremendous momentum right now, and I’m honored to help lead an organization that plays a direct role in that growth. The opportunity to work across Guilford County on regional projects makes this even more meaningful.”

— Cory Rayborn

Rayborn, who has served on the HPEDC board for several years prior to his elevation to Chair, brings to the role his background advising businesses on complex corporate matters. His appointment reflects both his commitment to the Triad region and Tuggle Duggins’ longstanding culture of civic engagement.

The HPEDC works to attract new businesses to High Point, facilitate development on vacant and underutilized properties, and coordinate with regional partners to advance economic opportunity across Guilford County. Notable recent regional wins include economic development activity connected to the Greensboro-Piedmont Triad Airport and associated business growth across the county.
