
Tuggle Duggins is experienced in advising clients on international procurement, construction and regulatory compliance issues that have arisen in Europe, Mexico, Canada, the Middle East, the Caribbean, Central and South America, Africa and Asia. We advise both private companies and foreign government agencies on procurement procedures and policies and offer expertise in handling internationally funded development projects, such as World Bank, Inter-American Development Bank, and the United States Agency for International Development.
We handle joint ventures, corporate structuring and tax planning for foreign subsidiaries, construction project financing, and acquisitions and divestitures of foreign businesses. We also have experience assisting U.S. companies operating internationally with compliance issues under the European Union Directives as well as under environmental, privacy, transportation, and employment laws and regulations of Central and South America, including NAFTA.
We also have extensive experience in the Foreign Corrupt Practices Act, which has become increasingly important for domestic firms operating outside of the United States.
